Granada Hills, CA — April 24, 2025 — Bethlehem School proudly honored Armenian Cultural Day on April 24th with a schoolwide celebration dedicated to learning, unity, and cultural appreciation.
Students engaged in a variety of enriching activities that introduced them to Armenian heritage and language.
Throughout the day, they learned several letters of the Armenian alphabet, sang traditional Armenian songs, and explored the colors and symbolism of the Armenian flag.
The joyful sounds of Armenian music filled the classrooms, creating an immersive and festive atmosphere.
Several staff members shared Armenian stories and poems, reading to the children in Armenian and sparking curiosity and appreciation for the language and its unique sounds.
As a special treat, the entire school enjoyed gata, a traditional Armenian pastry, adding a sweet and memorable conclusion to the day’s events.
Bethlehem School remains committed to celebrating the diverse cultures within our community and teaching our students to honor the history, language, and traditions that shape our world.
