We have been at Bethlehem Lutheran Preschool a little over a year now and our family couldn't be happier! The growth and maturity that I have seen in my then 3 year old and now 4 year old is amazing. There has been a tremendous expansion of her vocabulary and a definite flexibility in her strong-willed nature. She is happy when she comes home and can't wait to return to school the next day. The teachers are conscientious about the children's well-being and make sure they are fed and warm and comfortable. They go out of their way to get to know the children's likes and dislikes and are attentive to their needs and interactions with other children. The office staff are always helpful and pleasant and ready to assist with whatever the parents' concerns may be. The facility is clean and well maintained - both the indoor and outdoor common areas. Finally, and most importantly, the children learn that they are loved and should love others.

Bethlehem Lutheran School has been more than just a pre-school for my family. We had many choices when moving to the Granada Hills area and we looked into several. Being a teacher myself and the mother of two boys, my husband and I really wanted to find a school that we felt truly comfortable with and that our boys could learn some social skills, have fun, and get some basic academic exposure. We are going on our 3rd year at Bethlehem Lutheran School and it has been everything we could have asked for and more. Besides our children attending pre-school, they are part of the church's children's choir, attend Sunday school and my children and I were baptised. I have joined the church's book club and am currently the school's parent group (BLESS) President. Our oldest son is now 5, and this past fall started kindergarten at a public elementary school. He was fully prepared academically and socially and is thriving. Our youngest, is now in preschool so this will be our last year. Under the leadership team of Director Mary, Assistant Director Sandra, and Pastor Megan Fryling, Bethlehem Lutheran School has truly been a Godsend for our family.
