Bethlehem Lutheran School Preschool Celebrates Lunar New Year

With its parent community, Bethlehem Lutheran School joyfully celebrated Lunar New Year this year, engaging in a vibrant and educational experience that highlighted cultural traditions and the spirit of community.

Students participated in festive activities, including crafts, storytelling, and music, learning about the significance of the holiday and how it is celebrated across different cultures. The preschool classrooms were filled with excitement as children explored symbolic decorations, enjoyed themed snacks, and even took part in a mini dragon parade, bringing the celebration to life.

“At Bethlehem Lutheran School, we believe in fostering an appreciation for diverse traditions while creating meaningful learning experiences for our students,” said Mary Kandilian. “Our Lunar New Year celebration was a wonderful opportunity for our preschoolers to engage in hands-on activities that promote cultural awareness and joy.”
